![]() ![]() A headset with a dedicated microphone and earpiece is recommended regardless of whether phone or computer based audio is used in the meeting room. Most audio issues can be prevented by ensuring that each user is following these best practices: The audio has an echo, distortion, or static. Meeting hosts cannot mute the phone numbers listed in the Attendees pod until they have been merged with participant names. Merging duplicate rows is highly recommended. In the small menu that appears, click Merge Users to consolidate the rows and link the user to the phone number. Then, the meeting host can select the multiple rows with Ctrl + click (Command + click on an Apple computer). ![]() To solve this issue, a meeting host must determine which user corresponds to the phone number. For example, when Steve Student joined the meeting room in the below image, his phone number was listed as a separate row. Sometimes, when students enter the meeting room and select the Dial-in audio option, two rows are listed in the Attendees pod. Phone numbers are appearing in the list of attendees.
